Mr Qi Zhenli
Counsel, The Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province

Mr Qi worked in the analytical spectrum group and the computer applications group of Guangzhou Research Institute of Non-ferrous Metals and engaged in firther studies at Jinan University. He joined the then Eonomic Commission of Guangdong Province in 1987 and had assumed various posts as deputy section chief and then section chief of the Industrial Production Department, director of the Economic Operations Department, deputy commissioner of the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Party member and chief of Administration of Work Safety (at the deputy department director level), chief of Guangdong Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau (at department director level) as well as Party secretary. Currently he is Deputy Party Secretary and Counsel of the Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province in charge of matters concerning commerce, circulation, convention and exhibition, rectification and standardisation of market orders and services industries covering Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.
