Mr Johann C.Y. Wong
Deputy Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, The Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

Mr Johann Wong is the Deputy Commissioner for Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, responsible for the promotion and development of innovation and technology in Hong Kong.

Mr Wong’s responsibilities include formulating and implementing the innovation and technology programs in Hong Kong, providing funding support for applied research and development, facilitating the provision of technology support infrastructure as well as fostering technology entrepreneurship and an innovation and technology culture in the community.

Mr Wong joined the Administrative Service in 1994. Prior to his current position, Mr Wong held different positions at Civil Service Bureau, District Office (North), Security Bureau, etc.
