To promote Hong Kong as Asia's central business district, the first stop for overseas companies entering the Asian market, and the global gateway to China, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) previously organized "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" in London during September 2011 and "Think Global, Think Hong Kong" in Japan during May 2012.

During June 2013, HKTDC organized "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" in New York and Los Angeles, USA and the campaign attracted more than 5,000 participants from over 3,800 companies.
60 high-profile speakers shared their thoughts and close to 200 Hong Kong and Chinese mainland business representatives visited the US to meet and explore new collaborative opportunities with the locals.
