Founded in 1951, the British Canadian Chamber of Trade & Commerce is governed by an elected Board and its mission is the promotion of the transatlantic business interests of its members. The Chamber is a private sector non-profit organization that receives no funding from either the Canadian nor British Governments, however the BCCTC maintains a close relationship and receives support from the British High Commission, and its offices across Canada, and DFATD.
The BCCTC, through a Memorandum of Understanding, maintains close ties with the Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and other Chambers based in Britain. This agreement encourages meetings of key leaders in both the UK and Canada. Established in 2009, the M&A Club is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation with more than 360 members. Durham Region is made up of eight municipalities ranging from large, urban centres to small towns, hamlets and villages. These include the cities of Oshawa and Pickering; the towns of Ajax and Whitby; the Municipality of Clarington; and the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge.
Key sectors include advanced manufacturing; agri-business; digital technology; energy; and tourism, which are well supported by strong industry networks and economic development partners at the municipal, provincial and federal government levels.

TFO Canada confronts the challenge of global poverty by promoting sustainable economic development through export information, advice and contact. Headquartered in Ottawa with regional representatives in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia the organization facilitate access to the Canadian marketplace and share Canadian trade expertise for the benefit of smaller male and female owned/managed exporters from developing countries and for the men and women they employ. In 2014 it embarked upon a five-year Canadian Market Access and Capacity Building Program for twenty-five developing countries in the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The organization provides free export and sourcing information services to its registered foreign suppliers (exporters), Canadian buyers (importers) and trade support institutions (TSIs) through its website www.tfocanada.ca.

The Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA) is a unique, public–private partnership dedicated to growing Toronto region’s financial services cluster and building it as a “top ten” global financial services centre. Established in 2001, TFSA is a collaboration involving three levels of government, the financial services industry and academia.
