Morgan McGrath is Head of International Banking for JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial Bank. JPMorgan Chase is a global financial services firm with assets of $2.4 trillion, clients in more than 100 countries and has one of the most comprehensive global product platforms available. The Commercial Bank provides lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management services to more than 24,000 clients including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. Our firm ranks as one of the top three commercial banks nationally in market share and is actively expanding its presence throughout the United States and overseas.
Mr McGrath is responsible for the global relationship management of the Commercial Bank’s clients headquartered in the U.S. and overseas. Morgan joined JPMorgan Chase in 1983. He has extensive experience in investment banking and commercial banking client coverage and as a line of business executive both inside and outside the U.S. Throughout his career Morgan has worked with a wide range of U.S. and foreign companies, financial institutions and governments in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Morgan was based in Asia for eight years where his roles included Regional Executive for Southeast Asia and India, Country Head for Singapore and Country Head for Indonesia.
Morgan’s outside activities have included serving on the boards of Helen Keller International, the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, the Securities Industries Council for the Government of Singapore and the American Chambers of Commerce in Indonesia and Singapore.
Morgan holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and European Studies from The Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (“SAIS”) of The Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. and Bologna, Italy. He earned a B.A. degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and Gonzaga University in Florence, Italy.
