US Registered Patent Agent with B.Sc. in Agricultural Science and Bronze Tablet Scholar from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1981); M.Sc. (1985) and Ph.D. (1987) in Cell Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Jackie started her intellectual property (IP) practice in Singapore and has drafted and prosecuted patent cases worldwide for Fortune 500 firms, multinational firms and publicly listed companies in Singapore, Hong Kong and abroad. Besides her own biotechnology specialization, Dr. Lui also has considerable IP experience in the areas of pharmacology, materials science, manufacturing, medical devices, and mechanical and chemical engineering. Jackie returned to HK in 2000 and was head of patent teams in two large firms before she joined Eagle IP Limited as Managing Director in 2005. She specializes in cross-jurisdiction patent prosecution, strategic planning, portfolio management, technology transfer, patent due diligence and enforcement. Notable experience includes building and managing a large patent portfolio of a Chinese life science company from its inception more than 10 years ago until it become listed in the UK Aim Board. In 2014, Jackie is recognized as one of the Recommended Experts in Hong Kong by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM).
